VICTORIA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (YYJ) AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL TOWER, NORTH SAANICH, B.C.

 

Commissioned by NAV CANADA in 2017, this facility is intended to replace the existing aging control tower at the east side of the airport. It has been designed to meet LEED Silver, which will be the first air traffic control tower in the country to meet this standard. The project construction documentation is complete and was originally intended to be built by 2019, but construction has been put on hold due to the pandemic.​
